Congratulations on an engaging and exciting virtual ASCD meeting on Sunday. The experience from a viewer’s point of view was incredible, smooth and very easy to navigate. Thank you for all that you have done as a team to offer this event virtually and for the support you always give your sponsors – its is so greatly appreciated.

As a speaker at the recent ASAPS Virtual Breast Course my expectations of how it would work were absolutely exceeded thanks to the level of organisation and technology used by TPHE. Of course it was all fairly new to me as someone who is used to delivering talks in person, but the TPHE events team were there to support speakers every step of the way. And in the end, I actually found myself almost preferring the virtual experience – no time away from my patients, enforced completion and rehearsal of my presentation in advance and still being able to enjoy learning from other experts in Australia and across the world despite current travel restrictions.

I’m pleased that ASAPS pushed ahead and engaged TPHE to run a virtual event this year to help us all continue to learn and share in 2020.

Too many conferences are top-down, information dumps. The TPHE team have figured out a different model: a participatory, community-driven event that yields benefits that last far beyond the conference itself. We are moving into a new stage of post-COVID meetings where all participants are valued, not only those behind the microphone.
